Live-in Care

Live-in care is a 24-hour long-term service. We provide Live-in Care workers who will provide the assistance and support necessary to continue with a Service User’s chosen lifestyle in their own home.
Live-in care is an alternative to going into respite or going into a home. The difference between live-in care and respite or a care home is, that the care you will receive will be person-centred and focused on you alone. Giving the service users and families peace of mind.
A live-in care package includes the below:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Out and about
- Housekeeping
Other tasks may include helping to meet friends, keeping in touch with family or perhaps walking a dog and companionship, and the security of having someone living with you.
We ensure that the care worker is matched to the service user's needs and requirements. We do this by introducing the care worker before the package starts to ensure you are happy with the care worker.
For family members, we provide a tablet which will enable you to Skype or Facetime throughout the day to check up on your loved one and keep your mind at ease. If you are unable to Skype or Facetime, do not worry. Hope Homecare uses a paperless care note system, meaning you will have access to care notes online, on-demand, 24/7 from wherever you are. Be it at work or even sunning yourself on the beach, you will have ease of mind that everything is ok by logging onto our system and reading the care notes or contacting your family member through Skype or Facetime, all that you’ll need is internet access.

Happy Testimonial
"Hope Homecare has been providing excellent care for my mum and support for my dad in her progressing Parkinson's disease and dementia. The staff go above and beyond and bring warmth and light to what are often very emotionally challenging times for our whole family. Mum recently fell and fractured her hip and we received personal messages from the carers asking after. They really do 'what it says on the packet', they offer Hope and with a great dollop of genuine love."
